I accept payments by card, cash, cheque (made payable to Douglas Caird) or online.  Cancellations for treatments where payment is to be made in person must be made within 24 hours; otherwise payment in full will be due.  Refunds will only be issued in the event of cancellation by me and will not be issued for situations outside my control.

At your first visit, you will be asked to complete a Health Questionnaire.  You can download it here and complete it to bring with you if preferred.  You must also notify me before any further sessions of any changes to your health or medication.  Some of the treatments have contra-indications (health conditions which may require a specific treatment to be adapted or deem it unsuitable for you), and therefore it is of vital importance that you disclose your full medical state and history at the time of the treatment.  In relation to training courses and workshops, you will be asked to complete an enrolment form and in some cases, an interview before acceptance.

I will not be held responsible for your personal belongings while on any premises used for treatments or training courses/workshops.

Important notes on session etiquette:

  • I will not knowingly undertake session work on clients who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • It is important that both our boundaries are honoured during our session together. If this is not respected, I reserve the right to terminate the session at any given point.
  • If you feel uncomfortable with any aspect of the session or wish me to stop at any time, you must make this clear by expressing this to me.
